Data Acquisition & Control System

As part of its commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to limit environmental pollution, the UK Government has introduced an energy tax - the Climate Change Levy (CCL) and passed legislation for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) regulations.

Companies who are caught by the IPPC permitting requirements or who have entered into Climate Change Agreements (CCA's) to obtain a levy discount are required to monitor energy consumed in the eligible processes and measure and report key environmental data.

Key Objective:

Inenco Bureau Management Services can assist companies to meet this requirement by specifying:

  • Automatic sub-metering of Energy
  • Software for capturing Environmental System Data
  • Building Energy Management Systems

How Will We Do This:

The service ranges from providing advice on the above three areas to the provision of a comprehensive Energy Bureau Management Service, fully funded and managed by Inenco.

For companies who are neither part of a CCA nor caught by IPPC regulations, there is growing corporate pressure to monitor environmental impact and to measure overheads. A monitoring and targeting system, such as this, is an ideal tool to manage and control utility usage.
