Wholesale Energy Purchasing

Click here to launch our animated explanation.

Wholesale Energy Purchasing puts Inenco at the forefront of energy price risk management solutions. We are able to derive significant benefits by combining the energy requirements of a diverse range of clients into a portfolio. For supply contracts renewing from 1st October 2004 our portfolio consists of:

  • 211 unique customers
  • 10,500 individual energy supplies
  • 6.8TWh of energy
  • £200M+ of energy

New clients are coming on board every week and our volumes for October 2006 and 2007 are already significant.

Our approach enables clients to manage their exposure to energy price risk, whilst at the same time benefiting from a first class service from a range of major suppliers. We provide managed access to the wholesale energy markets and facilitate trades with a vast array of counterparties.

Our team of traders are constantly monitoring the markets via a range of broker screens and direct voice communication. We also monitor influencing factors such as supply and demand, weather and world events, in order that we can anticipate market moves.

The energy markets are changing rapidly and as a result, old purchasing methods are now less effective. For a full explanation of why and how the market is changing and what Inenco can do to help please download the PDF or launch the interactive explanation.
